So it’s been about a week now that macOS Monterey has been released and I’ve installed in half a dozen times or so on a variety of Macs and haven’t had any significant problems.
The feature I most wanted was Universal Control, and that didn’t make it in to the final release however, instead, we have to wait till “later this fall” for that to come about. That’s going to be a big one for me as I’m one who uses a MacBook Pro, M1 iMac, and iPad Pro in that order on my desk from left to right.
I haven’t seen a significant difference in the way that Jamf deals with Monterey, but more on that maybe in a different post. Overall, I haven’t seen a compelling reason to upgrade but neither have I seen a compelling reason to avoid it. I’ll have more to say when Universal Control is available.
